Is there parking available?

Yes! We have onsite parking available to guests, which is accessible through Franklin Avenue or Fifth Street. If our lot is full there is open street parking and an additional free public lot kitty-corner from the museum. All options listed above are free to use.

Do you offer group rates?

Yes! The Museum is available for group and special needs tours, including families, seniors, school groups, scouts, etc. Contact us by phone to make arrangements. Group Rates: 10+ people, $6 per adult and $4 per child 6-17 years of age. Please schedule ahead of time if you would like a group rate.

Oh no! There’s a snowstorm/power outage/etc! Is the museum still open?

Depends! We decide each incident on a case by case basis. While we try to stick to our posted hours as closely as possible, sometimes things like the weather get in the way. If we are closed for any reason, you can check the website homepage or MMM Facebook page for changes to Museum hours caused by weather conditions, power outages, or other temporary reasons.

Is the museum fully accessible?

The Museum is ADA accessible to the first floor. We are fundraising for an elevator so that the other levels are accessible to everyone as well. In the meantime, there is a virtual tour of the second floor exhibits available to view on the first floor. Learn more about the elevator fund.

I’ve fallen in love with miniatures! Do you know where I can purchase some of my own?

Yes! We have a gift shop filled with various miniatures from local artists, along with Museum swag and other assorted goodies. The gift shop hours are reflective of the museum’s hours of operation.
